Free woodland skills course
Mud Pie Explorers CIC will be running two eight-week woodland skills courses for young people aged 13-25 with intellectual disabilities.
The courses are funded by the Learning Disabilities Development Fund so are free to attend.
The courses are based at Lincombe Barn Woods, Downend BS16 2SW. The site is wheelchair
Join a small group to learn how to make fire, cook, use hand tools, make dens and fish with pods. There will also be cooking toffee apples, popcorn and campfire pizza over the fire! Week Eight will be a celebration that everyone can invite one friend or family member to attend.
You will be able to learn new skills (using fire and tools safely) and make new friends in a very relaxing, beautiful woodland.
